Good News from Louisiana

I’m a fan of Louisiana. I love the people. I love New Orleans. I love the food. But let’s be honest. There hasn’t been a lot of good news coming out of Louisiana over the course of the last few years. With the exception of a Saints Super Bowl victory (WHO DAT!), things have been pretty grim.

There was the devastation and the subsequent heartache associated with it. There has been constant political controversy, including a congressman with a bag of cash hidden in his office freezer. Now, it’s the Deep Horizon disaster and all of that oil polluting the Gulf of Mexico and rolling up on the state’s shores.

But let me tell you something about the people down there. They don’t let those things break them. They’ve survived hurricanes, political negligence and a series of disasters over the years and they’ll make it through this mess, too.

Sometimes you don’t see it in the paper, but there’s always good news coming from Louisiana.

And if you don’t believe me, go hit a Cajun restaurant in Breaux Bridge or Opelousas and tell me the folks are grim and beaten down. Visit a Creole kitchen in New Orleans and walk away with a frown. I dare you.

The people are strong. The culture is vibrant. And all of that is reflected in both the history and the cooking of the Cajun and Creole populations of Louisiana.

You should want to know more about these people and you’d definitely benefit from learning about the way they cook. That’s why you should be grabbing a copy of The Ultimate Guide to Cajun and Creole Cuisine right now.

This new guide gives the background on the Cajuns and the Creoles and then marches you straight into their kitchens, showing you how to prepare meals that straight-up SCREAM Louisiana.

Down in Louisiana they say, “Let the good times roll.”

Good news indeed. Get your copy of The Ultimate Guide to Cajun and Creole Cuisine right away. You can find out more right here:
